Practical tips that guests will thank you for
Plan the artists. One artist for every 20 to 25 guests who want mehendi keeps the queue short. Put a line in the invite such as "Mehendi for guests from 4 to 7 pm" so people do not all arrive at 7.
Feed people early. Guests with wet henna cannot eat with their hands. Serve snacks early, or have someone go around feeding the bride, which also makes for lovely photos.
Add a playlist or dholki time. If there is a dholki or ladies sangeet, mention the time so the singers come prepared.
Keep RSVP simple. Ask only "Coming? How many?" for the Mehendi. Meal preferences can wait for the wedding.
